Sign of the (End) Times

So, still reeling from Buick's new commercial selling S(YOU)Vs, I found this little gem that made CNN's "fashion" news headlines today (March 29, 2021):

Lil Nas X's unofficial 'Satan' Nikes containing human blood sell out in under a minute.

The 'Satan Shoes' will launch Monday as a limited-edition release.

I read that and I am without words. I would ask people to take a cursory look around their world, and see if they can spot the signs showing that Satan seems to be winning the war for our souls. Former churches being turned into breweries, wines labels with sacrilegious, titillating names, etc. I would argue that selling running shoes with human blood in them might be one of those signs that good people are not safe.

More about the shoes, from CNN:

"MSCHF confirmed March 29 that the limited-edition "drop" of 666 pairs sold out in less than a minute.
They were priced at $1,018 a pair, a reference to the Bible passage Luke 10:18 that reads: "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven." Each shoe's air bubble sole contains 60 cubic centimeters (2.03 fluid ounces) of red ink and "one drop" of human blood, according to MSCHF." CNN

Replete with pentagrams, upside down crosses, Bible references, and human blood, Lil Nas X feels quite comfortable serving Satan for the princely sum of US $1018.00 a pair. If Judas Iscariot had only known, he might have been able to monetize his actions even further.

UPDATE (March 30, 2021):
Well, thanks to good old-fashioned capitalism (and trademark regulations), there was a swift response from Nike, less than 24 hours after the published article. This headline from CNN Financial website:
